Here is why Fuller House is NOT or will ever be on TV Network

We get so many emails and questions on the Facebook page asking if Fuller House will be on TV or asking why it is not on TV. I wanted to make a post to specifically answer this question. Jeff Franklin stated in an interview recently that he pitched the idea to several TV Networks and they didn’t want to pick it up. Netflix was the only company that was interested and without Netflix we wouldn’t have Fuller House. Please read what Jeff said below:

“I started back in 2007 with this idea and I’ve been trying to get it set up, off and on — it took six or seven years for me to get this going,” Franklin admits, telling Variety that he sat in numerous unsuccessful pitch meetings for a “Full House” reboot.

“I knew that this kind of excitement was going to be there, but nobody else seemed to get it,” he continues. “I was pitching to networks that ‘Full House’ reruns were beating every night — we were airing 40 times a week and getting millions and millions of viewers. For some reason, a whole bunch of networks didn’t understand the hunger that was out there for this show. It was baffling me. Netflix finally stepped up, and that’s why it’s happening now. It could have happened seven years or eight years ago, but it didn’t.”

They should try again, maybe, they will get somewhere now.

I think their point is while it would be nice to have it air on like Disney Chanel like Girl Meets World because Netflix took the leap on them they’re sticking with Netflix. Kuddos for loyalty like that.I just wish Netflix had Full House available too. I don’t have the chanels it airs on and my kids want to know how they got all those videos of them as kids lol! If only they knew. They should try to get a TGIF thing going for the next seasons of Fuller House and Girl Meets World so fans can binge watch lol.

You would think Disney would give it a shot with Girl Meets World a hit.
